BFA Thesis - Rochester Institute of Technology, May 2015.

This is a body of work I created that speaks to my personal thoughts, relationships, and emotions regarding cocoons. They bring strong associations of family and nurturing. Inside the protective walls of a cocoon, growth and change occurs, just as it occurs in me. Each piece was created in a very intuitive manner that allowed it to evolve as it moved towards completion.

Materials included sterling silver, copper, brass, steel, ceramic, enamels, rubber, filter paper dyed with tea, wool, and assorted textiles.

If you have any inquires about any of the pieces shown, feel free to get in touch!
